Fidelity Favs | Our new obsession with the Mila Crop

Bella Maas

If there is one thing you need in your life it is a staple pair of jeans that you can switch up looks with. We have the perfect brand for you sold here at Bella Maas for your fall fashion cravings for some denim in your life. It’s called Fidelity Denim and we had the perfect model stop by to showcase just how much we love our denim, Marjean Maas-- name sound familiar? ;)

Celebrity stylist Jason Trotuzk, born right here in Canada, created this exclusive line of jeans worn by stars such as Kim Kardashian and our very own Justin Trudeau. They are crafted with nothing but the very best denim from Italy and shaped to fit your body perfectly while being comfortable all in one! Trotuzk oversees each pair so you know that your money is going towards something made with care and quality in mind. Another bonus of owning a pair of Fidelity Jeans is it can work with virtually any top piece and accessories.

Here are two easy looks you can achieve with our pick, a pair of Mila Crop Fidelity jeans:

Sweaters and Denim

Long sweaters are great, comfortable, and always fashionable for fall. This Backdrop Duster Long Cardigan is a perfect choice to match with this black Bailey 44 Trop Top to create a classy, layered look. Accessorize your ensemble with a Vince Camuto Brena Crossbody and a pair of Malu Short Boots. The Mila Crop Fidelity jeans finish off the look and pull everything together with a perfectly fashioned fit.

Jeans: Fidelity - Mila Crop - $299.00 | Sweater: Backdrop - Duster Long Cardi - $135.00 | Boots: Franco Sarto - Malu Short Boot - $225.00 | Shirt: Bailey 44 - Trop Top - $210.00 | Purse:  Vince Camuto - Brena Crossbody - $198.00

Take Two

This next look incorporates the same pair of jeans with some different top pieces, accessories, and shoes. This time, instead of going with black we’re switching it up and showing you how these same jeans can work with a few tan colored pieces. This BRUNETTE the Label turtleneck top is great for the chilled weather outside and can be matched perfectly with this BRIWOK Emmylou Bolo necklace. Chokers are all the rage right now!

Slip on this Dex dark tan print sweater to pull your look together and throw on a pair of tan Franco Sarto Domino boot heels. Again, the jeans look amazing and compliment the overall outfit.

Jeans: Fidelity - Mila Crop - $299.00 | Sweater: Dex  - Dark Tan Print - $119.00 | Shirt: BRUNETTE the Label - Porridge - $81.00 | Boots: Franco Sarto - Domino - $225.00 | Necklace: BRIWOK - Emmylou Bolo - $134.0

Thank you again Marjean for stopping by and looking so flawless in everything we put you in :) To learn more about Marjean and what led her to start Bella Maas, read on below:

My husband and I moved to Edmonton in 2000 when he made the Eskimos roster. I was a teacher so I’d come to town for the summer and head back to Arizona in August then he’d join me there after the season ended. The summer of 2002 we made the decision to move to Edmonton for good and I resigned from my teaching job. We landed ourselves in the wonderful community of Sherwood Park. A few months later our daughter was born and she got to watch daddy play at just 3 days old:)

Being from Seattle (the birthplace of Nordstrom) I LOVED shopping, clothes and putting outfits together for myself and friends. After living in Sherwood Park for a few years I felt there was a huge void in the selection of mid-high end apparel for women. Like most women in Sherwood Park, I’d drive to the city to find a quick shirt for a fun night out, a hot dress for a gala or a warm cozy sweater on a chilly day. I was told I couldn’t teach here with my current Arizona Teaching Certificate so I decided to open Bella Maas Boutique. My goal was to offer exceptional customer service, no pressure sales while offering the customer a pleasant shopping experience in an atmosphere that was warm, inviting and uplifting. I felt it was important to have a coffee station, couch, coffee table and oversized fitting rooms to complete the overall experience. I wanted to get to know my customers on a personal level so I often found myself sitting on the couch getting to know my customers. After opening the first location in Sherwood, I felt it was a no brainer to open one in St. Albert. In 2010 my husband retired from his football career and we made a decision to move back to the states to be around family for the first time. I was able to find 2 outstanding ladies who shared my vision and passion about Bella Maas and they have continued to make it grow and maintain Sherwood Park and St. Albert’s #1 shopping destination:)

Fast forward to today and we are so excited to be back in this wonderful city with so many of our friends whom we consider family. Last December Jason was named the new Head Coach of the Edmonton Eskimos and we committed to the move without blinking an eye. We arrived this past February and are back living in Sherwood Park. Thankfully 2 months after we moved back to the states, our Canadian Permanent Residents Cards arrived. We can now live in Edmonton as long as we want and plan on staying here forever. Man, it’s good to be home!
