This year, many designers have decided that floral prints aren’t strictly reserved for Spring. The juxtaposition of colorful blooms against other dark wintry colors are just what we need to lighten our spirits despite the gray skies and dropping temperatures. So this week we had Carrie Selin, and her beautiful smile, brighten up some winter outfits you can look forward to slipping into. We selected two beautiful silk print blouses by Rebecca Taylor that really hit the mark on the frosty floral trend and constructed two subtly different outfits layering a blazer and a leather jacket.
Outfit #1 | Frosted Blooms
The first blouse is a long sleeve with a frost flower print, half button placket, double patch pockets and a shirttail hem. It is great for layering or on its own for a holiday party or evening out. We paired it with a moto leather jacket, skinny jeans and a great pair of cut out heels for a more relaxed vibe with a bit of edge.
